SWARA is happy to announce that we will be participating in this year's Flagstaff Festival of Science. We will be leading field trips to pre-Columbian agricultural sites dating to the late 12th century AD to highlight how indigenous people successfully farmed in the extreme climate of Northern Arizona. We will also be demonstrating the making of stone-age tools, and discussing the rich natural resources of the Flagstaff area. Please visit the Flagstaff Festival of Science website to sign up for the field trip.

Through the Festival of Sciences, SWARA will be making guest appearances at Flagstaff elementary schools to discuss the pre-Columbian history of the area.
